’Losing his mother early, after the war Uncle Imre goes to the town, works at different places of work. After his father’s death, he still has a farm besides his job but after retiring, however he cannot find his place from 1933, he returns to his ancestors’land and he finally decides to live ’a free life’. ’A man, grown up int he farming of several generations, Imre Dobos, is led back by the power of tradition to his ancestars’ land where he finds ’smart, honest’ days that are so important for him’.
